Shawn O’Meara has spent more than 30 years in the electrical trade, building a career that spans residential, commercial, industrial, solar, and backup power. After graduating from the Associated Builders and Contractors Electrical Apprenticeship in 1997, he founded Aspen Electric to bring honest, reliable service to his hometown community.

A lifelong Northern Nevada local, Shawn has called Reno home for over 45 years. He and his wife are raising two kids here, along with their rescue greyhound, Maggie. Outside of work, you’ll usually find the O’Meara family enjoying the outdoors—mountain biking, camping, or snowboarding in the Sierras.
